Is my Danfoss unit repairable?
It depends which type it is. A gasketed unit has a frame, tie bars and visible plate edges with gaskets between them, and it can be opened and rebuilt. A brazed unit is a solid block with connections and nothing to undo, and a failed one is replaced.
Can a brazed Danfoss unit be cleaned?
Yes, chemically, while the unit is still sound. That is worth doing when performance has dropped. It is not a fix for a unit that has already failed internally, because the fault cannot be reached.
